I just registered for an account and while I’m a longtime follower and feel I’ve learned a lot from all of you than I did prior to discovering PriceScope, I’m still very much a rookie in the diamond buying game. Was hoping to get some feedback on this potential Round from Ritani:

I like the specs on paper and price. It’s unfortunate that there’s no video or ASET for your more accurate opinions/feedback. I know Ritani isn’t a vendor used all too often here but I like the idea of using them as for a small refundable deposit I can view the ring at a local jeweler with no commitment. I’ve been browsing White Flash, HPD and James Allen but I’d love to see the stone in person prior to purchasing. The stone is also listed on Enchanted. Any thoughts or feedback is greatly appreciated!

Also scores a 1.6 on the Holloway Cut Adviser

It looks good. 62.6 is slightly deeper than we usually recommend , but nothing crazy. My worry is about it being steep/deep and having light leakage or other issues. But it's a nice looking stone (to me), and scores under 2 on HCA which is good. I would want ASET/IS.

Also for what it's worth , HPD offers a "see it in person" program where they will send you a stone to your home for viewing. They also do that with some Jewelers (depending on where you live). I would choose HPD every time if given the option.

Thank you for the feedback, very appreciated! I was concerned about the depth too. Is the max recommended the 62.4?

Thanks so much for the information about HPD, great to know!

Yup, max is typically 62.4. but obviously there is room for stuff to fall outside the recommended ranges and still be amazing!
