Maybe I’m too skeptical, but I would take a stone like that to an auction house to sell rather than trying to sell it on FB. I would want to see the stone in person.

I would probably do the same....or to one of the jewelers that specialize in estate jewelry and are higher end, not your usual mall jewelry store. I just thought it was interesting....and big!!
. @LorettaB The style of the cut - a shallow, bright, old school round, & of the setting are favorites & since both are unusual in their own right, I never expect to see them together...
I assume that the sale can be organized as well as any & the price must be open for some debate.
