Got these as I really like the setting :)
I love these!! So elegant and sophisticated. And a great example that smaller Paraiba’s are Just as powerful. Gorgeous colour and glow. And the setting is so beautifully made

Hi all, I just got this supposed cuprian tri color tourmaline, 4.80 carats, from Mozambique. The colors are light pink, purple with a touch of yellow. Seller labeled it as Paraiba tourmaline, but I know it’s not really the right term since it’s not blue-green, right? It does test with a Refractometer as Tourmaline and has a glow effect (I know not the same as blue-green ones but different from any other stone I have). Is anyone seeing it or no? I wish I could post a video! The last pic is from the vendor...

Does it have a lab report?

Whatever it is, I love the soft and dreamy colour play in your stone. Are you going to set it?
Make sure yoy are not paying Paraiba pricing without a certificate

Thanks, I think I will in a simple setting. It was very reasonably priced so not too worried if it comes back as not Paraiba. I may send to GIA once it opens.

Yay I now have a Brazilian Paraiba tourmaline! This is one of those stones that I had no idea about until I started reading PS. I was intrigued by the neon blue colour and rarity but had no real plans to get one until I saw one at a reasonable price from a local UK seller. My budget didn't stretch to thousands so I got a small cabochon and had it set in an off the shelf setting - 9k gold with diamond halo. The seller cut the stone from 2008 material.

It's a lovely sunny day today so I probably looked like a mad woman going around my garden placing my ring on various plants. I'm happy that I got to combine 3 of my loves in 1 activity - gardening, jewellery, photography.

Now for pics:
