Thank you @Acinom
I’ll get back to you since I probably found my stone. What do you think about it?
I’m not sure it’s neon...to be honest I’m not sure about “neon” does mean... Could you please explain to me? But I really like the color of this stone, since I not a big fan of the windex color.
Thank you in advance for your replies!
I saw this gem and thought of you.

Hello,
I've been absent for a long time. Life has been so crazy lately.
I recently acquired this Mozambique tourmaline. Can it be called cuprian or is it just a mint green tourmaline?
I hope some experts can give their opinion. Pictures are of the same stone, taken in different lightings.

That’s beautiful and clean! I couldn’t tell you if it’s cuprian, but it looks similar to my friend’s new paraiba from Mozambique. Hers is a bit greener, less blue though.

Thanks for your feedback, chatoyancy and doberman. I'm a newbie in the world of cuprian tourmaline. I'm more into pearls usually and now I got bitten by cuprian tourmaline bug. I'm afraid it's going to be another hoarding habit of stones for me. :roll

Whatever it is... it is goegeous to the max. I see the glow in pic 1 and 3. In pic 2 the stone looks paler and not glowy but very beautiful.
As I am not an expert I cannot give you advice based on these pictures. But it definitely is a pretty stone. How will you set it?

Thanks Acinom for your feedback. The 2nd picture was taken outside in the garden, in full sun. The first was taken outside in the shade and the third was taken inside in the darker area of my room.
The stone looks green under a certain lighting. I still have no idea how I'm going to set it. It's 3.03ctw and I have slender fingers. :oops2: I can't put extra stones on the sides like I'd love to I'm afraid...

Oww, wish I had that issue: a big and beautiful stone and beautiful slender figures. Your stone will look amazing in a simple but refined solitaire with double prongs. Yum!!!
The colour of your stone is amazing. Please post more pics and keep us posted on how you will set your stone.

Great thread, so much glowing goodness! Although sadly I have to say it’s clear how ridiculous prices have risen and/or gem stocks have declined - eg. when I look at LD’s original amazing collection compared to more recent paler/smaller (but still lovely) purchases.

Yvonne Raley loves working with Paraiba tourmaline, especially in combination with other fabulous stones. Like this Paraiba and Denantoid band she created for @leslie1956

Yvonne will create fabulousness for @littledebbie81 . What a gorgeous colour play? Will they be stackers? Or will the stones be combined in one piece? Make sure to stay front row in the Yvonne and Cecile Raley thread

Have you seen the almost 5 ct Paraiba tourmaline that Leon Mege offers. Looking forward to see what he will create with it. He recommends his french cut ring design, so @Art Nouveau ‘s fabulous ring springs to mind

Drool worth piece! :eek-2::drool:

Thank you, Acinom :) The ring went out in today's mail, so I will be able to post hand pics in a few days.

It’s already sold. ;( Not that I could afford it but it was gone before I could even admire it on his site. I found it there but if you try to open it, it just says unavailable.

Some inspiration and eyecandy especially for PSers with new/ future Paraiba stones. These are designs by Leon Mege (and currently available by the way).

Or do you perhaps rather fancy Paraiba and yellow diamonds? (Please note this ring has already been sold)

I'm finally adding my paraiba diamond earring drops to this forum! I had them made with french hooks which I could remove, and here they are, worn interchangeably with my blue zircon studs and diamond studs. Apologies that these aren't the greatest photos. I'll snap more photos when I'm free. Thanks for looking!

Gorgeous like the Caribbean sea. Do you have any setting plans? Which one will be set first?
