Is it bad to celebrate when somebody got fired/quit?
Because my single most obnoxioius customer - the one who has caused every stressed out, I hate my job post in this thread - is gone. GONE. And I''m celebrating. And it''s wrong to celebrate anybody losing their job, but I am so freaking grateful I don''t have to deal with him anymore. SO grateful.

Hiya ladies!
I''m writing from home today, ''cause my internship is over!
I have an interview in a couple hours for a fall internship - I really, really want this one!!
Princesss - I''m glad your daily headache is gone! (But hope he finds another job somewhere far away)
VIP - nice camera!! Happy birthday!
Elle - enjoy your parents visit! yay!
Awesome! A lead is a lead, and in this economy... that is fantasticf.Date: 8/7/2009 10:23:42 AM

DUST!!!!!!
So, yesterday one of my friends asked if BF is ''content at his current place of employment,'' and when I (rather emphatically) said no, she said she might have a lead for him! It wouldn''t be a great job, but it would be a grown up job where he has to wear slacks and would probably work 8-5, M-F. I''m trying so hard not to get my hopes up because nothing''s worked out yet, but I have a really good feeling about this. It would work out for my friend''s cousin, too, since she gets a $500 bonus for everybody she reccomends that gets (and keeps) a job there.

Happy Friday everyone!!!
SunnyD, hope your comp issues get worked out! My DH has a netbook and loves it.
Elle, have fun with your family!!
Princesss, celebrate away! You are nice to feel a little bad, bc yes, losing jobs in this economy sucks, but hey, obnoxious people are taking up jobs that people with better attitudes need!
I am in a fab mood today. My invites are almost here, and I baked a KICK A$$ layer cake for my cousin''s bday party tonight. Took me forever. I still need to ice it, but I am excited! I made a huge mess in the kitchen but I love it.
I got a crappy response from my ex-BFF yesterday, that email I told you guys about. But, life moves on, right?
Other good news, my DH got offered school-year work with the firm he did his summer work with! That is a HUGE deal to us (and our budget!) so I am REALLY happy. Also, it means they like the work he did this summer so I am just so proud of him.
Anyone got any wedding inspiration flower pics they want to post? I need some direction.
Ohhh sunnyd I''m glad to hear that!!Date: 8/7/2009 11:17:25 AM

Don''t fry the ''puter! They sell cooling pads at Best Buy, because laptops are dumb and put all their fans underneath. I''m now a huge supporter of cooling pads. Hahaha.Date: 8/7/2009 11:24:47 AM

I thought about you last night because I was playing WoW and my computer got *really* hot, and I stopped playing for a bit because I didn''t want to fry my ''puter.

I''m home. With new bling. Of a certain branded maul store variety. Hahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I never thought I''d say this, but HOLY MOLEY it''s a BEAUTIFUL day outside. I just want to go sit in my dad''s backyard for the rest of the day. And thanks to Vegas, I now think 94 degrees is cool.

FINE. Sneak peek for you ladies. More later in SMTR.
Let me just say that in this case, Tiffany = Instant Gratification.
Also, we got there on Monday. Went to Tiffs at Bellagio on a whim. They didn''t have it in yet--only the earrings and the bracelet. Sales lady said to call the next day to see if it had come in because they were expecting it any day now. Called Tuesday to Tiffs at Bellagio and Caesar''s Palace, and decided to go Caesar''s Palace (made more sense with our dinner plans). So yeah. Bought it the first day it was in the store. And they were almost sold out already...
