Thanks everyone! Just got back from lunch - had a nice time. The thing I ordered first wasn''t so great so my mom insisted I order something else to eat that I would enjoy. So now I have lunch for DH tomorrow (the food I didn''t like so much) and leftovers from the food I did like. Yay for lunch tomorrow!

Ckrickett - sending job *dust*!

Curly - good luck with the kitchen

Jcarlylew - DH leaves one sheet of paper on the TP roll. Drives me crazy. I usually keep a box of tissues in the bathroom for that exact reason. Maybe try leaving a post-it note reminding him to change it?
FI has been known to throw away rolls that have several uses worth of of paper left. And of course the garbage is just out of reach when you''re on the pot.

OH yeah.. also another reason why I want a new job.
SO said once I get a better job and all of our finances are in order we can look/order my ring (he said looks but I''ve been looking for months so he just needs to give me the OK and we can order it) which MEANS hopefully in the next few months I can be off the list!!!
face18.gif
(he said something like 2-3 months)

Now THAT should give you some SERIOUS motivation to start stalking job ads!!

Lilac, glad you had a nice lunch... and leftovers rock!

Heard from the BF about our kitchen electrical issues. He said it is definitely not a blown fuse. Said it''s probably a short or incomplete circuit. I think he knows how to fix it, though I''m sure I will play my reoccuring role as his trusty assistant.

I am thinking of leaving work early today. I am basically done with everything that needs to be done before the long weekend, and tomorrow, I am making an emergency trip to Denver. It''s only a day trip, thank God, but it does mean I will have a loooong day. So if today''s short, it will all balance out. At least... that''s what I tell myself.

Feel better elle! Is there anything you can do to help vertigo? Maybe go home and lay down? Is there anything to take for it?

I have no idea. I''ve been slowly getting more and more dizzy the last few years, and it''s gotten bad recently.

Maybe if I had some dramamine?

I should get this checked out.

Are you on the pill? Does it happen when you''re not on the pill? I remember you mentioning this when you discussed BC.

I definitely think you should get it checked out... It''s worth it just to make sure it''s nothing serious and maybe there''s medicine that could help so it won''t happen so much anymore!

I am... and it''s happened when I was off of it.

Maybe all the sinus problems I''ve been having lately are making me dizzy?

I did eat... I should make an appt for an ENT. My primary care doc doesn''t know why I keep getting dizzy, but said she could give me a referral to a specialist.

Being dizzy sucks.

Yes. ENT is the way to go. My sister saw one when she had her symptoms, and he helped her out...

Probably could be a number of things going on. I hope you can see a doc soon!

oh no! you must get that fixed before your wedding. otherwise you might stumble down the aisle and the puke on his shoes when he goes to kiss you. and then you''d have to convince everyone it was vertigo. it would be something right out of a movie though, but probably not the kind of movie you want your wedding to be from

Happy birthday Lilac!!!!

Jcarlylew, my BF does the same thing! Not only that but he's a TP snob. Since he grew up poor, his mom would only get the 1-ply/rough kind so nowadays, since he can afford the nice stuff, he tells me that I can only buy Charmin or the new 3-ply Quilted Northern. "Only the good stuff will touch my butt!"

Aww elle, being dizzy sucks!! Definitely go see the ENT specialist! It could be related to your sinuses or your ears (when they are messed up your balance is all off). Until then, be careful standing up, as I''m sure you already know.. That makes your blood pressure drop and can make you even more dizzy on top of what you are already experiencing.

Yeah... I already get up pretty slowly.
3.gif
My blood pressure has always been low.. my doctor actually told me to start eating MORE salt.
20.gif
Last I checked it was 96/54.

I nearly black out every time I stand up because of the low BP.. but the vertigo is different. It feels awful.

I feel like I''ve been eating more, but its not making a difference.

Maybe its the Yasmin? I know its a diuretic and messes with your potassium levels and such. Hm...
