here it is, the show me the hoops thread, show em off, whatever style, size , ctw, you name it, just include an ear shot, pretty please! also, on what occasion do you wear them? im sort of looking for an everyday style, but im open to anything! thanks ladies
 
thank you, those are quite blingy, yet everyday! they are definatley a good sized casual hoop. as i posted on the other thread, i found a pair by Memoire today that i liked, but they were probably on the fringe of everday sized. oval, a litte over 1 ct, 1.25 inch long. 5 people in the store really liked them on me and said i could get away with those for everyday. i want to believe them, trust me, i do like to be a tad blingy-er than whats normal, but not blingy to tackiness. for the money, i want to wear them for lots of occasions. ii looked at online ps vendors for similar hoops, they are much less expensive. guess i have to really think about whether memoire is worth it.

And here are the ones that I bought to wear everyday after I decided the others were "too much"!

I also have a pair of yellow gold ones with tiny diamonds but I can''t find any ear shots for some reason...

I bet they would work for dressy/casual.
Not with sweats, of course, but I'm denifintely seeing them with some nice jeans, high heeled boots and a dressy top or jacket!

OMG!!! I love those! I love how they swoop from the fron of the ear to the back!!! Gorgeous!! Did you get rid of the first ones?
 
OK, here is the best ear shot I can find. (This is driving me crazy -- I really feel like I posted pics of these for Sharon a while back but the HH "cleaned up" all the photos on the computer and now I can''t locate ANYTHING!)

No, I didn''t get rid of the first ones but it does cross my mind from time to time. I know I would never get back close to way I paid for them (they cost a small fortune!) but I suppose I could try to sell them through Pearlmans...

Also, forgot to put in the info that isis requested on ctw. The pave ones are 4.41, the swoopy ones are .75, and the gold ones are (I think) .5.
 
Dee*Jay, I love ALL of your hoops!

I''ve had these hoops for a number of years--DH (then boyfriend) bought them for me back in college because they matched a stackable diamond and emerald ring he bought me...which I lost last year. Ugh. Anyway, the diamonds are only a few points each.

suzyqz- wow! those are gorgeous! i have just never seen hoops like that anywhere before, and they are soo everyday, yet so dress up. like stud/hoop combos that go everywhich way you want. love em, did you have those made? and almost a ct in each ear? nice.

DJ- the first pair are VERY blingy, awsome evening wear. i LOVE LOVE LOVE that second pair that go from front to back! they are so delicate and sophisticated, looks like you can go anywhere in those. what is the ctw? thanks for posting, all of your earrings are beautiful! (and so is your hair)

new england lady- i really like those too, i like the size, you can get a lot of wear out of those. tell dh to get you some sapphire ones to match with your new spacer ring!

im at my parents house right now, but when i get home, i get to officially add my own hoops! i did a little shopping today...i went with the Memoire 1 ct ovals, inch and a quarter long, despite their size, i really think they will work for casual wear, but let me know what you think, ill post em later

ok here goes, i have to say, i am really blown away by the diamonds in these earrings! just so full of life, and fire, thank god, cause in my mind this was a serious treat to be cherrished for a very very very long time to come, and one that my daughter will enjoy when she''s old enough. i mean really, i would recommend memoire for quality based my my little old experience so far, if i were asked. i think these are a good size for casual wear for me, i like a little length (these are about an inch, i just measured). i wouldnt mind some even bigger ones for real dressy evenings though someday (like i have any real dressy evenings, what am i talking about?)

thanks ladies for your compliments! DS, these are the 1 ct total weight. i guess i am not going to say i can wear them every single day, but they are definately shimmery, tasteful and have casual elegance (although they are quite blingy in the sunlight), which can certainly double as dressy for night. the craftsmanship looks very good. i dont think im going to loose any diamonds.
