Forgive me, I though you might have a partner with amusing tastes and pecadilloes.
Example: every Saturday morning is 1) visit Bring A Trailer, and 2) who's on pole for Formula One.

I already posted these in another thread but thought I should do so here as well. I've ogled the rings in this thread for years, I'm so thrilled to get to join you! :kiss2: Sorry they are not the best pics, I'm still figuring out how to take good diamond pics. It's so hard to capture her beauty in a photo, which I suppose is part of the magic of diamonds!

Sun came out today so I took a few snaps. My apologies if this is overkill, but I feel as tho these beautiful rings deserve to show at their best. As always, you need to click on each individual photo to get better resolution.

E ring : 1.5ct (36.5/40.6) D VS1 Tapered Cathedral setting size 4.5 - tapers down to 5 pointer diamonds
Wedding ring : 5 pointer VS colorless

I know there isn't much examples of Tapered Cathedral settings with accent diamonds so here you go :) Oh and I was really worried about the steep crown angle but it sparkles like crazy, more than my 1st diamond for sure!!

She’s dazzling! What is her color? She looks so white!
I love the band with her!

She is a G no fluor and that band is a Zina micropave I found on LT!

I freely admit that I’m a bigger is better type of girl!
That said, I went in today to responsibly and sedately purchase a dainty melee eternity band that would quietly whisper behind my 3.09 F color elongated cushion cut cathedral set e-ring.
But the moment this big bold 2.1 carat F/VS1 platinum channel-set eternity band winked at me I was a goner.
I know it’s a lot.
But. Well, I know this forum is the correct place to admit our shortcomings so here we are.
Yes. I know many would like to see a perfectly proportioned eternity but, holy cow, these two were instantly attracted to each other and together they feel like a million bucks on the hand.
Have not purchased.
Still considering.
So thoughts welcome!

It is perfectly proportioned. And it looks really good alone. Seems like you are a diamonds-and-jeans kind of person — that band is the perfect amount of multi-diamond bling that still looks like it goes well with a casual outfit.

Thanks @oncrutchesrightnow
Pairing a band with my e-ring has been my most challenging jewekry endeavor so far. I feel like I never get it exactly right.
And honestly I’m a diamonds with everything kind of girl!
Think Elizabeth Taylor wearing the Mike Todd ruby parure in the swimming pool!!!! 2F8AB3E5-DE1E-42A0-9AAE-A89508D43A3A.jpeg

I have learned, through much trial and error, that I prefer bands that don’t compete with my solitaire. If I’m going somewhere where I don’t want to wear the solitaire, I’ll wear a thicker band.
