This is custom made, and is a reproduction of an antique ring I saw on the internet. Center stone is 1.51, J SI2. I opted for a lesser quality stone so I could have "more" diamond, and I''m very pleased. The stone is very white looking (to me) and has a great sparkle. I couldn''t be more happy with my engagement ring!

Well, I am soo excited to announce my first diamond purchase since finding pricescope. So, after admiring everyone's sparkly things, I decided that I can grow my diamond collection also, but only if I found a great deal (paying for a wedding, wedding bands, remodeling kitched, 2 week honeymoon).

I searched loose diamonds on every site imaginable, determined for something rectangular or square to use for a RHR- but on a right budget. Long story short, I found a second hand ring through an estate sale!

SI- I eye clean
Band is 4.8 mm tapering to 1.5mm, solid 14kg

I plan on selling the setting (scrap or as is) and setting the stone into a right hand ring...

any guesses as to what I paid?

By the way, this is my first post here in PS. Been a lurker for a couple of days. I was planning to buy a vintage diamond ring and search online for a crash course on diamonds when I stumbled upon this site. I've learned a lot and find it extremely fascinating. I just got myself a .35 ct vvs G vintage engagement ring. I'm starting small, not really a fan of enormous rings - as of now.
