A very much deserved honor to say the least! Just thinking back when my boyfriend and I first started talking about getting engaged, we knew absolutely nothing about diamonds and purchasing online for a better deal on one was completely foreign to us. We were both naively content with my 1/2 carat Zales 3 stone promise ring that, while I still adore for its meaning, is less than stellar quality-wise. Thanks to PS, we not only learned a TON about diamonds from the various tools on the website but also its lovely contributing members. This place truly is a welcoming community unlike many other forums - diamond related or not.

I'd also like to mention that I cannot say enough good things about the recommended vendors that we spoke with - particularly Good Old Gold. They were absolute angels and Sarah made the process so very easy and comfortable. They have made both of us life long customers for sure.

So again, congrats PS!

As the longest participating person on Pricescope, I would like to mention a little known fact:

Andrey receives many requests from businesses who wish to pay money to list diamonds and advertise. Many are wholesalers who want to sell direct to consumers. Many want to list the same stones that are already listed, but they have no desire to provide consumers with any value adding services.

They open a website and think they are “in business”.

I have seen many introductory emails where the representative is to lazy to sign off with a name or phone #.

Often when Andrey examines the website he finds stolen tutorial info and or images from other Pricescope vendors sites or Pricescope itself.
Pricescope could have many more vendors, and much more income, but with no additional benefits to consumers or other advertisers.

For maintaining that level of independence, I tip my hat to you Andrey

I've been with this forum and have seen it go through many growing pains over the past 9 years. Seen many come and go but this forum has been a bulwark and front for the consumer 110% since its inception. Because it operates in the interest of the consumer it will continue to thrive and with Andrey at the helm I am confident of this forum's continued success. I'm proud to be a part of what I consider the cutting edge of Internet diamond service and to be associated with the fine people who participate here. I too tip my hat to you Andrey for making it such a pleasure to be family here. We are all truly blessed.

Here's to another (almost) decade.

I can''t imagine how a site could deserve it more - I''ve just been lurking for a month or more, and by reading everyone''s questions and taking in the collective expertise of the forum members, I''ve become much more comfortable with the prospect of buying diamond jewelry...

Most importantly, I''ve ended up buying a MUCH nicer engagement ring than I otherwise would have - thank all of you, who never knew how helpful you were!

And I''m definitely directing my other friends (who''re starting to consider the big question) over here!
