Our dachshund got violently, severely ill with pancreatitis. He's been to the vet four times this week for fluids and anti-nausea treatments, and is now forced into Hills low-fat diet. He hates it big time, but we are relieved because he's getting better. Today is a good day.

I'm not sure where you are, but my fluffers were on special diets. I didn't like the ingredients so I switched them to Just Food For Dogs which they loved, and they had zero problems on it.

they took all Gary's moniters off him in the critical care unit
he can sit up and eat and have a conversation (sometimes)
the first doctor this morning was so pleased with him

fluff licked my hand, she was pretty mad when i got home , she left a big poo on the chair
but i had left precautions down and all is ok
