Thanks for the compliments. As far as the wedding band, I decided to wait to get her input. I would probably just pick the matching band, but I know some don''t like them to match perfectly like that, so I''ll just wait and get her opinion first.

Thanks for the compliments. All the little details and the milgrain are really what I love most about this ring. It gives it a cool antique look, which I love.

My only complaint was that it didn't come with one of those fancy blue Tacori boxes! It is such a minor complaint that I felt silly even asking, but come on, I paid enough to get a nice box, right?! But the jeweler said they couldn't get the box. So today I e-mailed Tacori, and now they are mailing me one. THEN it will be perfect.

Thanks, I am glad to hear so many people like it! Mesmerizing is a good word for it. I find myself just staring at all the time when I am at home. If I knew how much I would enjoy shopping for diamond rings I would have done this a long time ago!

- Round 1.14 ct G/SI2 (completely eye-clean)
- The ring size is 5
- For the benefit of others looking at settings (like I was doing back in December), the setting number is Tacori 2620.

I really like the halo/pave style, and was especially drawn to this one because the halo is so understated. You have to look close to see it in person, but it still provides a little extra bling. I also like the unique shape of the halo, which makes the center stone almost look like a cushion shape.

Now I just need to keep it a secret for a couple weeks...

I am glad you contacted them for a box - you can take some great pictures against that lovely blue colour.

I know she will be over the moon when she gets this - I know I was (and still am....)
