Tacori ring finally arrived

At long last, my ring has finally arrived. After weeks of deciding on a stone (big thank you to all the wonderful people on the Rocky Talky forum), and then more weeks of waiting to get it back from Tacori, I was really excited to see the finished product. It came out perfect. I couldn’t be happier. I took a bunch of photos because I am working on a photobook that will be part of my proposal. But more details on that in a few weeks. Thank you all for the compliments, they are much appreciated (and they make me feel a little more confident that she will like it!) Someone asked for some numbers, so here they are:

- Round 1.14 ct G/SI2 (completely eye-clean)
- The ring size is 5
- For the benefit of others looking at settings (like I was doing back in December), the setting number is Tacori 2620.

I really like the halo/pave style, and was especially drawn to this one because the halo is so understated. You have to look close to see it in person, but it still provides a little extra bling. I also like the unique shape of the halo, which makes the center stone almost look like a cushion shape.

Now I just need to keep it a secret for a couple weeks...
