Hi Everyone,
I have a 6.3mm .95 Round MRB I’d like to set in a “budget” Tiffany Style setting. I’d like to stay sub $1,000 for a platinum setting.
Has anyone ever seen a Stuller Solstice six prong setting? I’m posting links to the Solstice settings I’m looking at. The videos allow you to see the completed setting.
I think I want a medium sized shank, maybe 2.75mm not overly delicate. I know Pricescopers have driven the shank size downwards... am I missing something when I want something thicker than 2.5mm for my .95 carat stone?
I also -think- I want knife edge for an added stylistic feature, but people tell me knife edge is uncomfortable. Should I drop the idea of a knife edge?
If anyone has done a Solstice, I’d love to hear your thoughts and see a photo if you’ve got it.
And last... I’d greatly appreciate your vote on any specific setting (if any). Thanks in advance.

Here are some old & somewhat more recent threads with pics that I retrieved to get you started; the first one is a .66 ct OEC set in the Solstice head on a 3 mm band -- so a smaller stone on a somewhat wider band, but it's the closest I could quickly put my hands on:
