Found a fancy pink orange .19 marquis at Park Fine Group, reached out to Alex (who has been great to work with) and BOOM! My first pink diamond has been dropped EW into a 18K textured band. It’s quite small but really lovely and will be a great ring for active days when the big stuff makes NO sense to have on the hands.

The ring arrived and Alex did a fantastic job. I asked him to set it quite low and really have it hug the band. He nailed it.

Wow that's really cool! How prominent is the colour in real life? That band is scrummy, I really like the finish a lot! I also really like it set in that orientation, too. Lovely!

Please be cautious about the girdle of the diamond... It's exposed and it's going to rub over time at things you stack it with. Diamond against diamond will chip and diamond against metal prongs... The diamond will win. I am sorry to add that note of caution to this but I would rather point it out than have such a glorious ring at risk!

Regardless, it's fabulous! Enjoy wearing it!

As for color, I notice it for sure. It’s a soft, blush color. Here it is next to my light lilac sapphire. I think it’s noticeable but not an in your face pink liked you’d see in a sapphire, garnet or spinel.
