Don't Ascher cuts vary in the cut as opposed to an Square Emerald

Asscher and square cut emerald are two names for the same cut… an emerald cut with sides that are the same length.
There is an old family named Asscher.
They currently own the company, Royal Asscher.

GIA, smart to avoid being sued, does not use the term Asscher since the Royal Asscher company claims ownership of the term Asscher.
