Top one. If bottom one is comparable in price, you should spring for a really glassy colourless piece carved by master.

K. I go and ask her to knock off some. Don't know if that would work.

I also saw some lotus leaves on Number 4. Now scrolling her on wechat.....

I very bad.

姐姐我是忠实粉丝。已经从你们这买了好多了。这么支持,这件价格打个小折吧。价格好一些。年底了。

Aim for 15%. Maybe you offer her your ideal price first and work from there.

I go in at lower and work to my goal price. Try.

Trouble, is, I also want everything else......

@suzanne2 this one? Number 4 has them. Various sizes. But check carefully. I saw one with a small line across.

This is very spicy green. She said.

My understanding is that spicy green means dark green, darker than a sunny Yang green. It does not look so in this photo.

I not buying this one. Just wanted to see on computer what it looks like.

From LS, yes the spicy ones are usually darker a few tones than yang green.

That pendant's lighting is too strong methinks.

@ChaiK

This glassy scenery pendant carved by master appeared a few nights ago on LS. A tad small for the 16000-18000rmb asked. But just to show what it should look like quality wise.

I'm passing on the ring. Daytime photos. I think it's not rich a green enough irl, assuming it'd still be 1 or 2 shades lighter than photos.

I asked them for design ideas for my 2 pairs of cabs from last night.

They pretty much nailed it!

The dragon floating on clouds means 龙行天下. Symbolises Dragon roaming over the earth because the Dragon is awesome, thinks he owns the world and he can. Something like that :)

So dragons have to be carved majestically.

I think you should ask and then inquire again after a while.

Firstly, you have a very good eye. That is a very good piece assuming no flaws/cracks/true colour.

Secondly, dragons are usually worn by males in the Chinese culture. So the scalloped edges of the carving may be too feminine for the majority of buyers of dragons. They go for rectangular carvings usually.

Thirdly, if it's unsold for a while, they will have to bring the price down! Who knows :)

Thanks for the encouragement! I've asked for a price, waiting for an answer. It really is gorgeous!
It's late for me, I may have to drag my silly self to bed before she answers. I'll update you guys tomorrow...

So I got the landscape the pure green pendant. It is pricier compared to my other pendant but smaller. The texture is nice and do give some glow in sunlight. It is an icy green that’s a bit gummy in texture. Very even texture so the carving is distinct and can be easily seen. When it was posted, it was described as old material, quality guaranteed, and very bright. However comparing it to my other pendant, it is not as bright. But with jadeite, the evenness of color and texture with iciness brings the price up so it did cost more.

At the back, you can see the evenness of texture and transluscency.

Compared to my other landscape pendants, the bigger one is brighter. It is lesser priced because of its mottling and is has some white and darker portions. The bigger pendant is more eye-catching when you wear it, and brighter, of which the brightness could be seen from afar so it commands more presence. The new pendant has a subtler presence but because of the even texture and color, the carving shows out more. So if you talk to someone at a comfortable distance, the carving can be distinct.

Comparing with the bigger pendant in sunlight.

Here it is also compared to my bin pendant (the smaller pendant costs less than USD500). A very bright green with good transluscency is difficult to find. It seems that the bright ones tend to have less transluscency and are usually mixed with white color. So a pure, very bright, stoplight green, high ice landscape will not be easy to find and will cost a fortune. Even texture in pure green alone is hard to find. Jade however, as they say, is all about the feels. I think I hit it good with the big pendant, eventhough the pricier one is more of an heirloom piece.

In direct sunlight. You can see the texture compared to the other two.

Would you say the big one is your favourite then @Seaglow? I think I am a bit of a sucker for a smooth green! They are all beautiful (the bargain bin one is fabulous for the price!!!!!!) but I like the new one best, especially in the indoors natural light pic. It's so even and looks perfectly emulsified! I really like that aspect of it!

@ChaiK and Seaglow can I pick your brains?

Did either of you buy this style of earrings with the chain? I am worried the chain won't hold the weight of the earring. They look fantastic but the thin chain and heavy carving worries me. The fish are on a chain too but they are much lighter!
