I found this nice family owned jewelry store with a great estate section and they had what is now my first colored stone piece. I thought it fitting that she is a garnet, my birthstone.

She will need a name. Taking suggestions…

That setting is just perfect… It looks like it cradles her! I don’t remember if you are going to wear her on your right hand….I always struggle with that myself. I wind up wearing the colored stone on my left hand with a band. Will she be a right hand ring?
