Somebody's Gotta Buy This Piece!

I could not tell if this was for sale or not - it was unclear by the post! Is it’s Kim’s or another jeweler?

I think she’s selling it

Old cut experts, what are your thoughts on this one? I read through very informative posts from @Dreamer_D but I have long way to go learning wise.
Pardon our interruption

Ring is here, it is very sparkly and the main diamond has slight fluorescence. The shank is shaped like a knife edge and is 0.9mm thick at the bottom. Is that too thin? There is some damage to the gallery i didn’t notice in the photos but now that i know it is there i do see it in the photos.

is it plat? anecdotally I had an antique moval with a similarly worn band and I got about a year of wear out of it before it warped and and was so structurally damaged I've set it aside for a reset.

It is thin, but the shank seems to be in good shape nonetheless. Its durability might surprise you. I have one that is similarly thin in 14k WG and it has proven to be surprisingly sturdy.

It is 18K gold. Yep, it getting damaged fast is what i am worried about and I am asking myself whether it makes my heart sing enough that i want to plan for near future repairs

Most of the value is in the setting so if that’s not in good condition then I don’t think it’s good value.

That is what i have been mulling over and knew i could count on PS to provide input.
