I could not tell if this was for sale or not - it was unclear by the post! Is it’s Kim’s or another jeweler?
I couldn't tell either.... But she's selling it

Love this, despite being low clarity. The setting is nice too, and price is good

Old cut experts, what are your thoughts on this one? I read through very informative posts from @Dreamer_D but I have long way to go learning wise.
Pardon our interruption

is it plat? anecdotally I had an antique moval with a similarly worn band and I got about a year of wear out of it before it warped and and was so structurally damaged I've set it aside for a reset.
It is 18K gold. Yep, it getting damaged fast is what i am worried about and I am asking myself whether it makes my heart sing enough that i want to plan for near future repairs
Most of the value is in the setting so if that’s not in good condition then I don’t think it’s good value.
Very clear and has kozibe.I really like the diamond seems so clear

@Drahokam, that is a gorgeous Granat Bros. Ring, their jewelry is very well made so this is a treasure. The main diamond has that kozibe that we all love and look for. The band is very thin but I would just keep an eye on it. How do all the prongs look? I’d say if the prongs are good to just wear with care and enjoy it.
Avoid carrying heavy items or doing anything strenuous or rough while wearing it that could put excess pressure on the band and you should be good for a while.

I concur with @Dreamer_D, if the shank is a concern now it will continue to bother you. Reshank it and you will have many more years of enjoyment and peace of mind.
I wonder what kind of metal it is though? Is it antique white 18k gold? That could be hard to match in color for a reshank.
Would the whole shank need to be replaced or could you do a half shank or a quarter shank? I have no idea of the cost of any of these things but just wondering if its the .7 that bothers you and not the .9 then maybe just the .7 portion could be replaced.
Maybe if you go to a smaller city the cost would be less? I just have no idea of a reasonable cost.I am in SF Bay area and was quoted $400 for reshank on a rather dainty ring and they also quoted $400 for resize from 5.5 to 8.25 on another dainty ring. I need to find a more reasonable solution, possibly look for a bench further north from SF.

@LightBright do we like it? I think it looks cute stacked like that.
It was not a fortune because the auction had those huge heavy 1980s Italian 18k gold chains and everyone wants those now.
