2nd marriage - 1.01ct VS2 I
3rd marriage - 0.6 VS H upgraded to 1.01 VS2 I (bought ring back from 2nd wife).
How did wife #3 feel about wearing second wife''s ering as her upgrade? Not being judgemental, just curious is all.

My center is .55 H SI1, sidestones .26 total, TCW .81

ring size 6.5

obviously ..... i did not tell her......

i just told her about a very well priced diamond available at a very good price..........

she said yes.... I wired the money and the ex-wife fedex it over......

SIMPLE......

the funny thing is I have paid for that ring twice but I have never owned it!

I paid the ex-wife US$3600- for the stone - VS2 I 1.01ct in a platinum tiffany style setting.

- Personally I have therefore paid A$10,000- for this ring all up..... however you all laughed at US$9,000- for a 1.01 VS2 I ring.....

Pricescope rocks!

I guess it was on a "need to know" basis...surely you could have found something in your budget that was not worn by your ex? If I found that out I would not be too pleased!

my original was .25 ct pear diamond with .25 diamonds in the wrap.
my upgrade is .77 ct cushion diamond with .62 diamond pave. I don''t wear a separate w-ring with this.
