Center stone: 1.51 radiant
Side stones: 2 .2 carat baguettes, so .4 total
Melee: 64 1.8 mm diamonds (I think they''re 1 pointers?)

Total Carat Weight: 2.55

I have a 1.77 RB currently in a solitaire setting. I am looking to reset it but I seem to have comittment issues.
 
My center stone is .52.
The ring also has 10 5 pointers for another .5

Traded that in [after divorce] towards 6.39ct EC with .52cts baguettes [self-purchase - still have it]
Now have 6.89ct RB too

Mine is 0.78 rb solitaire.
Wedding band 0.75 ctw

My original e-ring was actually a blue topaz with pink sapphire side stones, but I found even though I had picked the stones, I found I couldn''t wear it much it sat up higher than I thought, and was worried about damaging, so eventually changed when I found a diamond I loved.

Original e-ring stone = 1.14 ct (was in a Scott Kay solitaire, then re-set in the Ritani Endless Love halo setting)

Upgrade = 2.75 ct center stone + 1.1 ct in 3-sided Michael B princess setting (1 ct matching w-band)
 
I can''t wait to see what the answer is! I''ve always felt that my 1.05 RB was teeny compared to the door knobs here on PS.

My 5 year present is a 1.33 cushion. I don''t have it yet but it has been paid for.
 
Gwen--great question. I can soooo relate to the grad school procrastination. When I was working on my Ph.D., I think I had the cleanest house in town!! LOL!! Now that I''ve been done for 2 years, let''s just say it''s got a more "lived in" look!!!

My first e-ring was a 1 carater.

My 10 yr-upgrade is a 3.02ct (waiting to get halo'ed).

My aspired second upgrade/ second ring is a 5ct.

My ring is a 0.91c round brilliant center stone with a pave halo setting of 0.29c. Total ring is 1.20ct. Love it so much..but I can''t wear it yet because it''s not insured!

Total weight: 3.0

*One appraiser measured the center at 2.47, the other measured it at 2.52, so I''m splitting the difference as the stone was measured in its setting.

WBAND:
.50* eternity band (*aprox)

TOTAL wedding set: 3.5

METALS:
Both settings are platinum (if you''re doing metal preferences)

STYLE/ERA:
If you''re also separating out style, both rings are vintage Art Deco, and the center stone is OEC/Transitional Cut.
