I don’t need another right hand ring. Lol. So I passed. They were asking 2600 out the door but it needed French cut sapphires in a very specific size and color. Anyhow. My mind is racing bc I seriously am considering asking David Klass to replicate this setting but without blue sapphires. I’d use white diamonds. Here she is!

Hassle them for a discount because it needs work, David has bench guys that can do that type of restoration and can cut sapphires to fit into there.... so fixing it shouldn't be a big issue.

I think it’s ALMOST at a fair price. You can not duplicate this setting easily or well without spending that amount or more. The old cut stones alone will cost you, and finding them will be a challenge. Call Cicada Jewelry whose dad is The Gem Doctor in Los Angeles and see what it would cost for them to cut a sapphire. Cicada also does restoration. That ring is special and while not a huge bargain, fairly well priced. Honestly, it’s beautiful and is a very high quality design. I’d seriously consider and wear as is until you can lightly restore it, if I were you.
