So as it turns out...maybe...NOT a heart attack?

Checking in again @mrs-b, I’ve been working a lot....
Continued well wishes across the miles. Hoping everything goes smoothly on Wednesday.

I just wanted to pop in to say that I am thinking of you constantly @mrs-b and wishing health, happiness, and peace of mind for you as you deserve nothing less! Life has been busy lately so I have not been on PS as regularly, but my thoughts and good wishes are with you nonetheless. I trust that this chapter will soon resolve and beckon you to a much brighter one! In the meantime, virtual hugs are incoming!

Sending all my positive energy to you, @mrs-b (with a little extra heading to the doctors, nurses, etc who are caring for you). You are one strong lady.

Thanks for the update. I love your sense of humor in all this stress. Matching jewelry is very important! And yes, get to Saturday no matter what!!! But no worries, you'll keep going past Sat.... ;)

And for what it's worth, you have amazing skin. I would not have noticed the tiny bit of wrinkling on your neck because you have a wonderful smile and glowing skin to match! Your teeth really aren't that big. And they are straight. Good teeth are tons better than no teeth too! :D I have big teeth, and my poor daughter inherited my corn teeth. Oh well... she's loving life, and making the best of it, and being happy is all that matters. I hope Wednesday afternoon comes quickly so this procedure will be over and you are on the way to healing! Sending you warm thoughts and prayers!

@mrs-b it’s been too long since I’ve popped in here. I hope your procedure goes smoothly and you enjoy your new pretties!

Good. Grief.

Spent aaallllll afternoon at the ophthalmology clinic yesterday. Ultimately saw a retinal specialist. Told me I have severe oxygen depletion inmy left eye due to restricted blood flow. My vision is, at this point, normal, but I'll ultimately go blind in that eye if it's not treated. Luckily, the stent in my carotid may well fix it and, if it doesn't, there are other ways forward. Will have an ocular angiogram in August and start ANOTHER phase of Mrs-B medical care.

Aaaaand the hits just keep on coming. I frigging expect to live FOREVER after all of this! If I have something wrong with my body, by the end of this, we will have found it! Nothing's gonna come popping out at me unexpectedly! This is a good thing - I know. But it comes at a price.

Long-time lurker here who has drooled over all your jewelry threads. I love your three-stone in your avatar - but I am not sure if you still have it? I am inspired to have one made similar.

Wishing you the very best outcome tomorrow. So sorry you have had to go through so much! You have a lot of people thinking of you and sending prayers!

You have beautiful teeth and a gorgeous smile!

And btw, Tim has just converted both our doorbells to playing Happy Birthday.

Not long until the big day!! I hope Tim manages to surprise you with loveliness, even though your emerald cut ring should be arriving in time!

@mrs-b Sending you hugs and flowers. These beautiful lupins popped up and must have been a gift from mother nature seeded from someone else's garden last summer!

Sending you best wishes for your procedure @mrs-b! You are so strong with good support and will be able to celebrate the big 60!

@mrs-b prayers continue and will be outgoing tomorrow for you and for guidance for the doctors.
I updated my Church's prayer group for your procedure tomorrow.

Good luck with the procedure and here’s looking forward to 70! (In a decade I know)

@mrs-b Everything will be on the upward trajectory after your procedure tomorrow...I will thinking of you and sending prayers that your procedure fixes you right up! ❤

Thank you, one and all. I'm getting nervous and passing the time by doing housework. I'll be going for a walk with Tim shortly, then tonight I have an online yoga class. Will be interesting to see if I can relax during that. ( - my money is on 'no'.)

Procedure tomorrow is at 2.30pm. I'll be so glad to have this over. And I will be THRILLED to get home. Fingers crossed for a Thursday discharge.

Prayers and hugs to you for a safe and successful procedure. Yay for yoga, chamomile tea, cleaning, bling and relaxing.

Good thoughts heading your way for tomorrow's procedure @mrs-b. I hope everything goes smoothly and you are home asap. <3

Thank you so much, @Karl_K - value beyond measure. (Matthew 18:20)

Just found out Greg's procedure (with general anesthesia) is scheduled for 7:30 AM and we are supposed to be at the hospital by 5:30 AM.

not sure what is up but prayers are outgoing for Greg and you

Anyone who can keep up their sense of humor with all of this is my hero! I know you are scared. You are in the best of hands, have the love of the best of men and friends. I‘ll be waiting here and rejoicing when this is in the rear view. Sheesh maybe a little Xanax wouldn’t hurt either, I mean come on! :oops2:

Good luck tomorrow! Hopefully, you'll going to feel much better soon.

Looking forward to an update tomorrow saying everything went perfectly and you are recovering comfortably! Thinking of you @mrs-b

Thinking of you and Gregg too, @missy ! Hopefully he feels much better after surgery! (And tell Timmy to eat so you don't have to worry about him too!.

@TooPatient how is your hubby doing? How is the studying going? prayers continue.

@TooPatient how is your hubby doing? How is the studying going? prayers continue.

He's trending towards better. Some days are better than others. Sat down in the low 90s and even hit 88 on Sunday. Most of the time, sitting 93-96. Still dizzy and vague feeling. Runs down quickly. Definitely starting to feel better though. I feel like half of what I have to say anymore is don't do this, no leave that alone, and no... you really shouldn't try to do that right now! He is wanting to do stuff. Doing a little more. He just wants to do more than he can and needs someone to remind him to slow down and do things that are easy to do in chunks so he doesn't overdo.

Studying is insane. I need another 2-3 weeks. I have another 3 days. I'm, hopefully, going to make it through. We'll see. I have an assignment to beg the instructor to take late then a big programming assignment to scramble through. If the other guy gets my current assignments in, I might be able to skip the last of the other assignments and just take the hit to my grade. Need to see though. Need a solid 74% to pass for graduation. Would rather it be better, but I just want to make it through at this point!
