OH LS, you couldn''t be further from the truth! I think the word you are looking for is "sulky" not "sultry". I hated that awful dress that Mum was making me wear. It was Dad''s year to be Worshipful Master (Freemasonary). This was his big night, so we were paraded out in suitable dresses - blue polyester and altogether too much flipping material, I hated it. And I was missing the disco that night.

Well, they could make me wear the dress, but they sure as hell weren''t going to make me smile for the official picture!

OMG small world: where is my sweet DH tonight? Over at the Lodge, installing the new WM.

Believe me, I TOTALLY GET IT about being paraded out that night. I think mine was about 7 years ago when Dh was installed. I hated it then too, and I was all grown up. So I can''t imagine being a teenager and wanting to disco instead!

Ok, we don''t have prom in Australia, but we do have a "ball" - I imagine its the same thing.
Usually this is just one in the last year of HS, year 12 - but Geez, you guys made me realize going
back through my photos that I went to four different balls !
