After Gypsy's thread, I totally want to see everyone's prom dresses! Bad hair, taffeta bows, lace gloves? I wanna see it all! State the year (decade at least!) you wore it, for reference!

I'll start... Mine was a mint green, but it photographed almost white. I had a thing for gloves... I wanted to look like I was wearing something vintage.. Worn in May 2005. I don't think I hate it, but I definitely would pick out something new these days!

Aww thank you so much, Choro! It was a Jessica McClintock dress, and she made a bridal gown in a very similar style. I attached a picture of the wedding gown for you!

Also, I really hope other people post their pictures!

With my best friend from HS. No, we didn''t go together, we had boyfriends/dates but I couldn''t find pics with them (big surprise).

My dress was a beaded ombre number from Cache.

It''s not so bad. I''ll probably think it was in 15+ years, though. Pic''s from 2002.

I think this dress came on the heels of the Genie in a Bottle craze

And my dress was a Jessica McClintock dress haha. Ohman.

That is AWESOME! Seriously. I almost wish my picture was more outlandish so I could look back on it and be like "oh man, those were the days". Ha.

Did anyone else''s school do themed dances? We had a Sadie Hawkins themed dance every year that was country themed--everyone dressed like hicks and they set up pictures on bales of hay with a farm backdrop! I''ll have to find a picture of that one...

Hahaha, I am still friends with my prom date but he looks a whole lot different now!

And yes he was wearing ONE garter around his arm. My friend actually made that since I sucked at sewing back then.

We even had white roses with dyed black tips to match our outfits, how funny is that?

His hair was like that by the way because he was a skateboarder, that was the ''thing'' back then. Mr. ''Flock of Seagulls''!

Mine is NOT a black and white either. DF is being a smarty pants as usual, tee hee. Actually, I don''t have any of my pictures here, they are in a trunk over at my mom''s house, along with all of the weddings I was in over the years ha.
