LM, which one did you choose? Mine looks great on you too! Everything is always too big for me! I tried on a size 4, but they pinned it in the back to pull it real tight so I could get a good idea of how it will look. We ordered a size 2, but I know that will be too big as well. Anyone have any opinions on David''s Bridal doing the alterations? Or should I take it somewhere else?

I wasn''t too keen on the ladies in the alteration dept at David''s Bridal (in Torrance). I''m going to take mine to a seamstress who alters my suit jackets (I have the same problem with being too big--with my suit jackets b/c I have no boobs to fill them out!). She used to have a dress shop and she''s done a beautiful job with all my blazers so I''d rather pay more for her alterations than use the David''s Bridal people. I just didn''t get a very good vibe from them...kind of like I''d just be a number to them and I''d really like some more personalized service (especially based on some of the stories I''d read here about brides'' experiences with their alterations at the bridal shop).

The palm tree and the house architecture. Reminds me of my grandmother''s home in SoCal too. Very different landscape from the southeast too, definitely not Florida!

You looked beautiful!! I love the ballroom silouette on you (sp??)!

StephensBride--when I saw the lawn with the homes behind it, and then the palm trees and brown mtns in the distance, and the color of the leaves on the trees I thought "That looks just like the Manhattan Beach golf course at the Marriott!"
