I just received my RHR. It is a reset of my mom's princess cut diamond ring. The jeweler was able to utilize the center stone and the surrounding diamonds to create this ring. This was a very special gift from my parents and I truly appreciate the opportunity to reset this ring and to make it my own. Since I recently I got engaged, I wanted this ring to be completely different from my e-ring and definitely recognizable as a RHR. Thanks for letting me share!

Here are a few, not anywhere near the collection that Lauren has!!! Camera is broken so all I have is what I have on the computer. I also have a 1ct ruby channel set with rows of diamonds and my grandmothers double diamond ring that I have no pictures of right now. As well as a few others that sadly do not fit me at this point in my weight journey! They will some day soon.

When me and my bf started shopping for my e-ring I knew that I wanted a pretty simple ring, but I also started browsing through vintage options too. I ended going with my first choice for my e-ring and decided to just get a vintage ring as a RHR. I found this ring on Etsy and fell in love with it at first sight. It is a Tiffany ring that probably dates back to the 1930's. It was obtained from a wealthy family that is in the logging industry in Washington state. The ring is platinum (supposedly very heavy, weighing 6.2 grams, but I'm clueless on metal weight, so who knows). The center stone is a sapphire with a nice Mediterranean blue color that is .75 carats. The two side diamonds are each .25 carats and look to be G or higher in color and probably VS1 in clarity. Right now the ring is being polished (the platinum was scratched, especially on one side which means the previous owner probably wore it right next to another ring) and the center stone is being tightened as it was a bit loose. Also, I'm getting it appraised, so when I get that back I'll verify the color and clarity of the stones. All in all though I simply love this ring. I hope to post more pics when I get it back from my jeweler and I'm so happy that I made this jewelry purchase for myself. The most expensive thing I have ever bought for myself besides my car was my laptop, so this was a big purchase for me, but I am so happy that I made it. The first picture is of when I first got the ring and the other two are from the jewelry shop that I bought it from. The Tiffany stamp has deteriorated with age, but it is a Tiffany & Co. ring, I just wish I had more history on it.
