The search function didn't turn up anything more recent than 2006--so I was hoping that you all were in the mood to share? I'm looking for inspiration!
I've been looking at RH rings and trying to decide to get one for my anniversary or having my e-ring reset. All are Simon G designs and the 5 stone yellow diamond piece is Gregg RUth. I don't own any of these but I can dream.
I hope to see what other members will post since there are so many gorgeous rings on this site.
not a great picture, but an alternating diamond/sapphire bezel band in platinum by Brian Gavin Diamonds. I wear this one most often.
2mm tri color rolling ring from rollingring.com. I don't wear it as much because all three bands tend to look yellow--maybe my skin wears off the rhodium... Someday I'll have the real cartier version.
My other right hand ring. This was an engagement present from my parents when my hubby proposed. They knew we had waited a LONG time (9 years)to get married and were proud of us for holding off till college was done. We started dating at the age of 16 in 2001 and promised each other and our parents back then that we would wait till we both graduated and had full time jobs.
2nd: 2.0 carat Diamond Cluster/Cocktail Ring with Platinum Prongs and 18k YG band. I LOVE this ring and if I'm not wearing my Sunstone, then I am wearing this and vice a verse.
This is my RHR. Solitaire is 2.5 ct M SI1 with 1.0 ctw 4-prong eternity band and 1.5 ctw channel set band. I know it looks like an e-ring but I just love the look. I can switch up my bands or wear it in place of my e-ring.
Thanks, Lula. I picked out the sapphires loose and had them put in semi mounts.
Sundial, that ring was a lucky find and a great deal. It was in clearance at the mall. I paid about $460 for it, it's 1/2 ctw. It is one of my favorite rings. The very center diamond looks yellowish sometimes that may be why it was on clearance. I love your ring. I bet it is very sparkly.
Marcy I can't believe what a deal you got on that princess cut ring! I think the design is just gorgeous and I was sure it was a custom piece. You have great taste in jewelry.
Thank you Sundial. The band is very decent too. Easily 2 to 3mm wide. I bought it after I bought my WF PC studs. I wanted a PC RHR but didn't want to spend a lot. I think I found a great deal on it.
now, these pictures are really bad quality, but I thought I'd still like to post them.
This opal and yellow gold ring is probably from the 70's since it was my mom's when she was younger. She can't wear it anymore as it's too small for her, so now I get to! The opal doesn't have as much fire as some I've seen (but more than the picture shows of course) and has beautiful filigree work around it.
This amethyst is much darker in person. It's a small 3 stone ring
pale blue aquamarine with white sapphire side stones (looks sooo much better in person)
aquamarine pear with diamond side stones.
I alternate wearing these, to match different outfits, or just whenever I feel like wearing a certain one. And again, these are just crappy phone pics, and the jewelry is so much sparklier and prettier in person.
