Someone tried a thread like this awhile back but was actually looking for fancy yellow, so nobody posted pics of their warm stones. Would love to see some examples esp of antique diamonds in that high color range

I'd love to see some too. I'm getting an M OMC and it seems to fall in between lol not that warm and not that white.

Here are two moods of my 1.5ct P-SI1 AVC shown in a DK ring (AVC is now loose as I dissembled the ring to use the diamond pair in a DK platinum 5-stone graduated diamond bezel band):

This thread is throwing up some beauties, both stones and settings. Your O/P old mine is stunning @elizat (I’d never guess that colour range, it’s so white) and I adore the carré cut setting. Ditto your CvB and marymm’s AVC and its old setting. I love the chameleon nature mid-alphabet stones can have.

As much as I love the AVC, I've come to realize cushions aren't my HG diamond shape, so likely it will be going up on LT with a couple of other things ... need to get motivated to take photos and write up listings

I have no idea how old my emerald cut diamond is, but it's an S-T color and very beautiful. The color complements it perfectly and I couldn't imagine it any other color.

A quick photo of o-p in a shaded room, cloudy day. I think there is a huge range of how these stones actually face up and look. I think I have done a color comparison shot on the hand of M, K, o-p etc. I can try to find or redo it.

@marymm -

I might be going to sell mine this year. I'm thinking about paring down. A lot. Am thinking about upgrading the center stone in my three stone and going to a soli and calling it a day. I find the older I get, the more I only wear one ring, apart from my bands, and it's my 3 stone. And even that, I'd like to take down to a solitaire. So all that to say - Boadicea might end up on the block! A classic example of "by the time I'm able to afford it, I was too old to enjoy it!"

I have an R color AVR in a rose gold setting by Love Affair Diamonds (how I miss them!). I found I really like old cuts in warm colors- not so much in MRBs for myself, but I have seen some beautiful examples on here.

I think the rose gold and white diamonds in the paisley halo really emphasize the color. It’s a beautiful piece and the truth is I don’t wear it nearly as often as I should.
