The pun is silly, but this is a lovely stone. GIA graded old mine cut, o-p, 3.09 center, VS2, in an art deco platinum setting with carre cuts.

I will try to see if the setting grows on me, but it will likely get a new dress. Probably the CvB Tempest. It is technically a three stone, but I don't think I can wear something that looks essentially like a solitaire. I have size 6.75 to 7.25 finger, that varies with the humidity.

This is supposed to be my memento of the house we sold in March. It's the Bunker stone. The street had Bunker in the name and we always referred to that house as Bunker, because it was just kind of funny with the double meaning.

So, photos! It's a chameleon. The stone has lovely performance that is hard to capture in photos as to what I see, but I'm trying.

She’s just bonkers beautiful. Congratulations!

Those are some gorgeous facets! If you don’t mind me asking, where did you source the stone?

It's lovely as it has character and presence, thanks for sharing!

LOVE the chunky facets of that stone!

I love it. And I think the setting is perfect. Congratulations on a gorgeous new piece!

Ummm...that is Positively Opulent ( see what I did there? )
It is one of the most gorgeous rings I have seen!!

What a stunner!!

Sako of Cicada Jewelry. I really like working with him!

Thank you for the nice compliment!

Gosh- that really is a beautiful stone. Love the shape, the large facets/pattern, the setting, the look of the ring on your hand.
Just all of it!
Enjoy!
Side and profile shot, please?

The extra chunky aspects on the make of that rock!!!!!
I also really dig the setting, it's very unique and the trichannel/carre really works as a foil. It's lovely and unexpected.

Sure!

The three nice looking ones are Sako's photos.

It has a non puffy crown, which you can see, but it doesn't impact the performance at all to my eye.

Thank you for the nice comments too!

It’s beautiful and faces up much more white than O-P. The setting suits it very well too.

Gorgeous!!! And tag me if you ever sell the setting ;)

Beautiful and beautiful on you! Congrats!

I’m drooling! Magical stone and setting!

Thank you!

This setting is outside the norm for me, but I thought I'd try it with it. I'm not a stacker and I don't really like solitaires on me, so I'm thinking that this will be reset eventually. It looks very solitaire- like to my eyes, which is nice on others, but I don't believe I wear well (and I don't love how they look on me). I am used to "stuff" on my settings and more detail.

lol! I do see what you did there! I thought it was kind of fun and silly to use the grading that way too.

Thanks very much. It's a very lively stone and it's been interesting to watch what it does in various lighting!

Gorgeous!!!!

Does it have a twin sister? Did have a certificate?

It was always just the one. Wasn't part of a pair, if that's the question! This is gia certified.
