My Bubbalah is two tone. The shank is 18K yellow gold and everything else is platinum.



My OEC cluster is three tone. Rose gold, blackened silver and the shank is platinum.

1. My 2.53 ACA in three stone setting (side stones .33 each) and Tiffany channel set band in 18 kt. yellow gold. The three stone has a yellow gold shank and platinum heads for the diamonds. Shown with two tone Rolex watch.

Great Aunt’s Pearl & OEC ring, dating from between 1895-1905. Again, 18ct shank & basket, platinum top. My pictures are so rubbish!

It really is! I was so honoured she left it to me (she was 99) & it only comes out on special occasions as the basket is very worn, though the diamonds & pearl are safe. She was gifted it for her 25th Birthday in 1935 from her husband, from an antique dealer. And I have all the original paperwork as she was a stickler for receipts!

My SIL has her wedding ring made like this too. She & my brother were married on the 10th anniversary of their first date. She didn’t want to be engaged as such, so had a heavy, wide platinum eternity ring made with diamonds, and on the inside she had them roll her grandmothers 22ct gold wedding ring. So she just has one big, sentimental ring.

Oh this is going to be so much fun.

First up, a very old 80s ring that I have not worn since 1995.
14KY with 14KW head.
GIA graded F-VS1 1.50 fat marquis with strong blue fluorescence.
24 Princess cuts F/G VS 2.32 ctw.
My aunt brought this back from the LA diamond district and I paid here for it.

14KY with 14KW head. This mounting originally had a 2.05 D-VS2 in it, but I traded that stone in for the 3.01 F-SI1 that it has now to help new hubby out (old hubby had an affair and dumped me).
