My first two have been in the last year! Both diamonds are around 1 ct and one was from my original solitaire e-ring and the other from my mother's (which I had recut and set into a simple milgrain bezel pendant at first). Caysie van Bebber did the platinum reset of my mother's stone, and David Klass made an 18k yg engraved pendant for my daughter using my original diamond.

I had to find the pictures but here is another repurposed project that DK did for me.
It’s my first diamond set. The original diamond is an OEC and I had it set in this princess cut setting with matching band.
He repurposed the center diamond into a rose gold bezel pendant and then took all the princess cut diamonds from both rings and made me a rose gold eternity band.
He even bought the old gold from me.
I bought this non functioning antique platinum watch on ebay and had DK set a Paraiba that I already owned in it. The bracelet amazingly fit like a glove on my 6 inch wrist, as well as the tourmaline. Definitely fate!

Oooh I love having pieces transformed, probably even better than buying new stuff .
These are my new recycled rings. The flower cluster ring that I hated, the 2-diamonds cross-over ring and a pearl stud have turned into the diamond-pearl open ring and the diamond "wave" ring. The insect ring was originally a Victorian stick pin that was just put on a band. Really love those three together . My next project will be a snake ring for my right thumb (also featuring repurposed rubies from an old ring for its eyes).

Bumping this with a new piece. My mom’s ring with a really 80’s tall and dated setting. I had wanted to redo it for years bc the diamond sparkle so nicely and I thought the pink tourmaline would sing if we could get some more light return.
