Yes, black dial!! So hard to come by. It has Roman numerals and the VI is diamonds plus scattered diamonds around the bezel.

My husband's - I love it! I tried it on and thought of @Tonks -- it actually didn't look as big on me as I was expecting! We are still going to get him the Batman, but since we are not big spenders we've accepted that we will need to go grey. The prices on the grey market have gotten a little crazy lately, so we are going to try and ride it out for a little bit...

Omg, you look fantastic in that Polar Explorer, @SandyK !!! It is so clean and classic. If he will let you borrow it you should rock that. That honestly makes me want to go try one.

The issue is that gray prices are pretty high for pieces like the Batman that are super desirable. My hope is that you can find one in your budget soon! It is such a beautiful watch.

Haha thank you! My post above was confusing - it is actually my husband's wrist in the photo, but I definitely think you should try one on too!! He was worried that the Exp II would be too big and also tried on a sub when he went to see this watch. I think he said the difference in diameter was not really noticeable, and that if anything the sub felt bigger due to the case thickness. So since the sub looks awesome on you, I totally think you could rock an Explorer! And good thing you got a sub before the current craziness with the new model...

Hi everyone, my luxury watch is a 2005 Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Duetto. It was invented in 1994 with a manual movement and a complication involving two back-to-back dials: a classic silvered face with Art Deco florale numerals and blue hands on one side for day and a dressier Mother of Pearl face with gold hands, framed in two rows of diamonds on the reverse dial for evening.

I just love the history of this watch. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso is an iconic timepiece born in 1931 from a need for a watch robust enough to withstand the polo matches of the British army officers in India. Jaeger-LeCoultre designed a reversible case in order to protect the dial and glass of the watch and patented the concept of "a watch that is able to slide out of its frame and turn around completely" on March 4, 1931. Using grooves, pins and a locking mechanism, the central part of the case rotated 180 degrees to completely conceal the dial during sport. The Reverso's Art Deco style features elegant, geometric forms and three emblematic gadroons.

I had a watch with a black dial and loved it, but it stopped working and I've been wanting to replace it. It's not easy finding a black dial! I l also love the bezel tennis bracelet with it because there's less scratching that way! Great addition to your collection!

Thank you @diamondseeker2006 ! I’ve always loved JLC and that’s the first (and only) luxury watch that I got as a milestone reward for myself a few years ago.

Unfortunately I seldom wear it now due to a variety of reasons. First when I got an Apple watch and then when I started wearing jadeite bangles 24/7 I stopped wearing watches.

Thank you! It's really hard finding one with a black dial. I love this watch. The only way I would wear a diamond bracelet with it is if it's bezelled.
