Colorless diamonds are gorgeous...don''t get me wrong...

but warmer colored diamonds are starting to reallyyyyyy catch my eye! i think i might prefer them over colorless!

yeah. i sat and drooled over this thread for a while. hehe. i was trying to bump that topic up but didn''t seem to be able to. so I thought I''d start a new one for ladies with some new additions

This is my first H&A stone I ever purchased. It''s a K from GOG, 1.04, VS1. This is the stone they''ve used for some of their videos. I had a thread on it in SMTR
but i think my username was Chriselle? Not sure. Had to create another account because I forgot the PW and my email has changed since then.
All my windows face north so it''s difficult to get good lighting when taking pics. And as I''m in nyc, I can''t exactly go downstairs with my stones, take ''em off and start snapping away hehe.
For some reason it''s difficult to tell the color of the stone in pics. Sometimes it looks very white, other times I can see the color. It is a K after all. BUT this has to be my favorite stone (sentimental reasons) and even though I sometimes have the urge to upgrade to a better color etc. I doubt I''ll ever do it. It''s just so pretty.

It is hard to tell color unless you''re comparing it to higher colors.

When I compare my K to my H or even I stones, I can see it without a problem.
When I compare my K to my G, the difference blows me away.

On it''s own, It''s hard to tell. Plus, I actually like the warmth of it when I catch it. it gives it some character.

Thanks, Elle! The stones in the setting are all Ideal cut F-G. It's back at Signed Pieces being re-set and I am definitely going through withdrawls!!!

Thank you I had it set locally. I told them I wanted a very, very thin bezel and this is what they brought in. Their prices are good too. Back when I had it set, I paid under $500 for the platinum bezel and chain. I think that''s an excellent price. Then again, it was over a year ago but even then, I received quotes for about double what they charged me.
