Show me your everyday necklace!

I'll play!

I usually wear one of these:

And occasionally, I stack them!

Please excuse the tatty shirt. It's one of those spring-cleaning days that calls for my go-to tatty attire (Although god knows why I was distracted by jewels instead :lol:)

What tatty shirt? All I see is beautiful necklaces! I love the clover diamond and round together!

My (almost) everyday necklace: 0.55 ct F vvs1 ex cut in 18kt white gold setting.
This piece is my everyday necklace because:
- I can wear it 24/7 (including showering, workout,...);
- it goes with every outfit;
- it works alone, but it's also very easy to stack with other necklaces, particularly with my dbty;
- it's looks good with my (almost) everyday earrings: six prong wg diamond studs or wg diamond huggies.

Thank you for your forgiving eye! :lol: Stacking does give off a "je ne sais quoi" casual chic indeed! I'll be stacking more often to get more wear out of the necklaces, and maybe get one of these clasps too, as my necklaces do tangle sometimes and are a nightmare to undo urgh.

LOL! Well, my issue with these is clasping and unclasping... I have no patience!

I recently had my original 1.02ct pear cut engagement ring made into a bezel pendant & my little .40 Tiffany solitaire pendant (earlier in this thread) found a mate & became new studs, which I collected yesterday. The Tiffany was super sentimental to me & I would never have sold it, so wanted to make use of it & keep that little glitter ball still on me. I have small lobes, so I’m really happy with the size (my old studs were .30) as the insane sparkle makes them look so much bigger.

LOVE!!! Yes, neck shots!!

I recently made this antique pendant for daily wear. I bought the art nouveau 15ct gold pendant, circa 1910, and then replaced the round amethyst in the center with this half carat OEC. It garners many compliments!

Little over 1/2ct old cut by aurifixation (on insta). Just got her and I’ve been wearing her 24/7!

Here you go! Excuse my flushed skin - it’s warm here & I’m having a ‘peri moment’ right now :lol-2:

Ohhh I love the proportions on this!! What’s the size of the diamond and the bezel thickness??

Thank you! If I recall without rooting out the cert, the diamond is 1.02ct & measures 6.5 x 5.4mm. She’s a chubster! Her sparkle is insane as she has a bit of round brilliant in her fat end. The bezel lip is really skinny but it’s 5mm deep to accommodate the chain holes behind. I actually ordered a new chain & it was switched today, because as much as I wanted to keep the original Tiffany box chain from the old pendant, it was too fine & long for the new weight. This new chain is only 16 inches & much thicker, as I found the old chain just too long for this look. Much prefer it!

Thank you! I’m really smitten & glad I took the plunge & re-dressed her, instead of her sitting in my jewellery box unworn. She’s a beautiful, weighty pendant compared to my old one.

Good luck for when you are released from the Island & I’m looking forward to seeing what you do!

Thank you Sharon! Yes, I was hesitant to reset, not because i was worried about the pear, but because i have worn my studs since my 25th (so 26 years just gone) & Mr T bought the Tiffany pendant to match only 6 weeks after we met, now 19 years ago. I am super sentimental, but I have a new mate for the pendant & she now sits as a stud in my ear, and the original studs from my parents are now awaiting THEIR new dresses, one each for my daughters, whenever they choose & however they want to set as pendants in the future.

I bought this pear cluster sometime back from eBay. It was remodeled from a Costco ring I’ve decided I like stacking it with my lavender Jade beads.IMG_4126.jpeg
