Ok so I''m having a hell of a time finding the right ring for my GF.

"Celtic" would be the one word description of the style she wants (which I found out using 007 ninja-like tactics)

Knowing her I know the words "elf princess" and "forest" would also be appropriate.

I''ve already selected the diamond (.82 F SI1 Solasfera) and I''m now looking for a cool setting that will show this off and still have the intricate designs and engravings that I know she''ll want.

Since I can''t find anything I think a good place to start is to ask all you fine PS folk to show me your pictures of solitaire settings that have nice engravings and/or fit the words above. Also please tell me where you got it so I can go check it out!! :)

Thanks!!!

Justin

Oh and I''m partial to simple solitaire settings with few/none sidestones so that the Solasfera really gets to stand out.

Of course any ideas help :)

Not Celtic, but have you looked at the Beverley K rings at Pearlman's? Lots of engraving details. For a custom ring, I think Greenlake jewelers in Seattle is great. What is your budget? Greenlake, Pearlman's Beverley K. The Beverley K line is very well priced. That's the designer (and vendor) I decided on for my new setting, just haven't got it yet.

www.raru.com has a ton of celtic knot work as well as custom designs based on weaving your initials into the bands. I''ve looked into their work for years, and while I don''t own anything (yet) I plan to. Good luck!
