VE the Durnell Providence Collection Solitaire as pictured. But at the bottom of the band, you can see some funky little round things, they almost look like extra diamonds and I was wondering if these are common on Durnells. I also want to see the quality in non-Pearlman pictures.

So... GO!

Thank you!

Thank you very much

But I really want the claw prongs on the Durnell. I love the precision.

Doing a PS search for Durnell only turns up threads from the last 6 weeks....so I''m guessing not many around here, if any.

Vatche does do the "claw" prongs you're talking about on some of their pieces. When I saw those prongs it reminded me of my ring!

I haven't seen Durnell around here, either. I hope you can find some!

Wellll ... unless the stone is sent to the manufacturer (Durnell) to be set ... the bench man at the jewelry store you purchase the setting from will be forming the prong tips when they set the stone.

I know all too well..about claw like prongs gone BAD! I woulnd''t trust just any jeweler to attempt those double prongs again!
