I love this cut and though I don't own any concave cut gems it's my favorite type of cut I think for colored gems. That blue zircon is TDF.
Thanks for starting this thread Chrono. I hope others will post pics of their concave cut stones. So beautiful.

You have some really beautiful pieces, and the pink sapphire is TDF!

I have a concave cut mint garnet ring that I bought from Andrew Sarosi few years ago. The stone was cut by a spectrum award winner, but I cannot recall his name at the moment. The mounting was hand made by Sarosi's Russian jeweler Gene. Never gave this ring a photo shoot. Here are some quick snap shots with my ipad. I cannot capture the exact green of the stone. The vendor picture is a bit too saturated. Mine look washed out. The real color is in between.

Wooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwww...I should have started this thread years ago. These eye candy are truly gorgeous.

Xrisus, the setting you chose complements the stones perfectly. Did you come up with the designs yourself?
ArtNouveau, glad to see you back and you need to post more of your beauties!

Chrono: I only came up with the general idea/theme I wanted. After that, much of the creative work in the settings came from Ocean Pearlman in the 2 pink tourmalines, and the Mozambique tourmaline. The other ones were themes that I came up with after seeing other designs I liked.

Xrisus,
It is great to see how non-standard shapes are set. Thank you for sharing.

iLander's RH 4.38 ct citrine at a whopping 11.5 mm in size, which is cut in a fashion as to show an optical illusion of a hole in the middle.

At least this one was not done to save weight and can only be seen at a specific angle.
