I'll keep it going, lol. Here are two brooches I didn't show. The left brooch was given to me by a Japanese client of my husband's. They were walking in Japan one day and walked by a jewelry store and my husband made a commented along the lines of "my wife would love this place." The client said, "oh, your wife loves jewelry?" Later, on the last day of their meetings he gave my husband this brooch to give to me. The bamboo etching is phenomenal on this piece. The right brooch is a Limoges brooch, an homage to my mother.

This coral brooch caught my eye, and I watched it until the seller dropped the price significantly, then snatched it up! I absolutely love it, even though I have yet to do more than look at it. I need to have a replacement bale added, as the original was removed at some point in the past. Body is 10k, and the diamonds are very old and very wonky, but impressively fiery. To me she is a grande dame.

Wanted to share my first ever brooch: the Elsa Peretti Amapola. I was sceptical about brooches in general but am thrilled with this purchase!

Inspired by the wild poppies near her Catalonia home, “Amapola” is Spanish for poppy and I love the minimalist, structured, mirrored stem juxtaposed with the supple red silk petals.

At approx 9cm, it is certainly not a shy brooch, but I think the simplicity of design balances its large size. I’ve styled it with a simple black maxi dress and my 28 week baby bump :mrgreen2:

Timeless and cutting edge at the same time! It's gorgeous!
And the baby bump is beautiful, too!

I don’t own the bow anymore, sadly I had to return it because stones kept falling out and my jeweler said the integrity isn’t very good. I’d love to find another one someday.

The vintage sapphire crescent (which I need to take better pics of in the sun, is currently for sale!

Resurrecting this thread to add my growing brooch collection. I’m becoming a little obsessed!

This is my latest pink sapphires and diamonds - inspired by van cleef - but wings slightly different and rather a lot bigger. To match my pink and orange sapphire pave earrings.

This is an unspecified insect of some sort designed by me - unheated lilac and violet sapphires, demantoid garnet and diamonds in white gold. I wanted this to be a nod to the suffrage jewellery.

This my little gold fly - vintage. It goes with everything.

This I bought earlier this year - vintage and I adore it. Emerald diamond and white gold.

These are my darling bees. Mexican fire Opal gold and diamonds with black enamel stripes. There is a mummy bee as well - I have three.

I have a few costume pieces as well which I wear very often.

The collection will definitely grow!

I love all your brooches but especially that dragonfly! It's so gorgeous. Your pink sapphire brooch is so similar to my pink sapphire one. They could be sisters!
