I am thrilled with this new ring! I wanted a fuss free set for daily wear without many frills. I purchased the OEC stone preloved from another pser (originally from Park Fine Group). Specs are 2.01 H SI1. I am so happy with it!!! The setting, perfectly made by David Klass, is sterling over 18k yg. Band by DK too.

I think this set will get a ton of wear.

I love OECs. Some day soon. Your ring looks great!

I finally got my blue oval set and I'm thrilled! I randomly picked up this 1.2 carat from fire and brilliance for only $950. I set it in a delicate halo in 14k white gold and I'm in love.

Please excuse my hands/nails. I've been gardening a lot lately.

Omg where can I get details about the Marquise please?

Marquise - 2.6 ct, I, VS2 (14.35x7.2x4.25) from Ritani. Paid $3349 for the stone alone which I thought was a good deal for the spread of this one.

It was just an impulse purchase to fill a "need" for that shape. I didn't really need it, but wanted it and didn't want to pay much for it. I wasn't shooting for the highest quality, so I'll just put that out there. However, I do absolutely love it and wear it at least once a week. I'm currently getting a new setting made for it and hoping it'll be nicer then since Ritani messed up the setting (it's crooked, see pic). I didn't send it back because I knew I'd be getting another one in the future.

Thank you so so much for all the info! What will the new setting look like? Omg I looooove how it looks now (can’t see the crooked but I believe you) and I can see why it gets a lot of wear!

The crooked is very visible in person, but if you look in the picture of the 2 sides that form the cathedral, one goes up higher than the other creating a smaller "space" on the left side than the right. I'm half blind (over 40...sigh), and I saw it so it's very evident unfortunately.

I'm getting a Verragio inspired halo for this one. I'll post pictures when it comes in.

Wait, you can’t post all this sparkle and not leave details! Tell me about each one- they are all beautiful! Also, just because I’m being nosy, do you wear them all regularly and how do you pick which one to wear for the day??

I wear them all regularly in rotation. I choose a different one every day. I like variety and get bored easily. I just bought a new marquise and love it a lot more than the previous one (pictured below).

Oval - 2.96 ct, E, VS1, GIA graded from Ascot Diamonds
Pear - 3.02 ct, G, VS1, IGI from Ritani
Round in rose gold - 3.55 ct, J, VVS2, IGI from Ritani
Round in white gold - 3.76 ct, J, VVS2, IGI from Ritani
Marquise - 2.6 ct, I, VS2, IGI from Ritani
Cushion - 4.59 ct, H, VS2, IGI from Ritani
Marquise - 3.17 ct, H, VS2, IGI from Ritani

Yes, a strong degreaser that is not corrosive and fine for jewelry except pearls, opals, emeralds and blackened metals.

I’m late to the party but your ring is unbelievably sparkly!! Which kind of Simple Green do you use? I’ve seen concentrated, purple, spray. I want those kind of results for my Diamond! :kiss2:

Wow, beautiful collection!
If you are willing to, do you mind posting some pictures and maybe a video or two of your 3.76 J VVS2?

No, it's a new marquise (3.17 ct). I like the dimensions on it a lot better as a solitaire.

I'm having the setting for the 2.6 ct marquise made right now. I should have it reset in a couple weeks or so.

Hi Tiffany,
I prefer the lemon scent, but any will work fine. Hope you enjoy your sparkles.

Good luck! I looked earlier and didn't see any more smaller stones. I was looking for my mother in law. They do have a good selection at about 1ct. James Allen does have smaller yellows in stock.

Edit, I must have searched incorrectly. They have a few.

I was looking on Ritani but it doesn’t look like you can see an image of the actual stone? I only see a stock photo.

The larger stones have pictures (mostly). My little one had no photo - I took a chance :)
