Should I Run from a Cavity?

I am looking at a 2 ct round VS1 Triple-Excellent I color stone. The GIA cert looks great and the price is close to my budget. The one thing that worries me and may explain why the price is a bit lower than other similar stones is that there is a small cavity at the girdle on the GIA cert.

Under Key to Symbols, it goes Feather and then the Cavity, which tells me that it may not be that bad, and it looks very small relative to the overall stone.

Should I stay away from this stone because of the cavity, in fear that it could cause chipping and unstability when mounted?

I have attached a picture of the stone as well as the GIA cert. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks.

Jason

You might want to post the lab report and magnified pictures of the stone and maybe one of the appraisers or jewelers will give you an opinion. But I wouldn't particularly be concerned with a VS1. I'd need to see it, though, before being 100% sure.

Thanks for the reply. I just added a pic and the GIA cert for the stone.

I wouldn't run from it, just don't eat a lot of sweet stuff and you should be fine.
