Ok, so I purchased this pendant from a local jeweler, not certified, si range, h color, pretty design nice stone. Very clear stone does not sparkle as much as the center stone of my ring that I know is a perfect cut but still good (overall size .60 with .13 sides).I like the design. Should I keep this or for the same money get a perfect cut .40 plain bezel set stone from BG, james allen or blue nile. Opinions please.

I'm a sucker for a good deal. If you bought uncert, I would think that you saved a lot. Can you take more pictures?..

ETA: .oops....just saw that you paid the amount as you would for a smaller one. hmmm....

How does it perform? The pictures aren't very telling.
Do you trust yourself enough to confirm the non-cert stats or do these stats not matter to you as long as you get more size? What look are you going for?

I guess it just bothers me that my perfectly cut ring shines better

My biggest jewelry regrets in my lifetime have been settling for lower quality. I'd go for an excellent/ideal cut stone when you get over about .30 cts for a center stone in a jewelry piece.

Then I guess that you would rather pay more for a smaller stone. FWIW, you will not be seeing it on your neck. I have a .91 well cut OEC that I thought about setting as a pendant. My jeweler advised me against doing that precisely because I would not enjoy viewing it ...he said pendants are worn for others, and for you if you have a mirror at all times. From afar, will others be able to tell that your pendant is not well cut? Or, does it have enough life and sparkle for a pendant?

I will be returning, lovely, just not for me.

Thanks to all for your advice!

I'm not loving the spokes coming out from the center.

Honestly return it and get a great cut diamond on line.
