You said you don''t love it the way it is. I think that''s all there is to know. If you have the opportunity to change it, do so. I think it''s stunning as is, but you''ll be looking at it every day and you should be happy!
I think your ring and diamond are lovely but I think the diamond would stand out more in a solitaire or maybe with a setting that has smaller diamonds. You should love your ring so if you want to change it, I would.
Beautiful ring as is, but I agree with what everyone else said--if you''re not 100% in love with it, go ahead and change to the solitaire. You''re the one that has to wear it every day for the rest of your life so you should absolutely adore it.
The ring you have now is bold and chunky, the shank and side diamonds are quite large and sort of blend into the huge center stone. I would do a reset into a slender non-diamond adorned shank, and pair it with a dainty shared prong eternity of round diamonds, or just a plain, slender non-diamond wedding ring. That center stone covers your entire finger and extra diamonds are not needed! .
I like yours, but certainly if you do not you should change it. I think you cannot go wrong, as long as you do not mind the lack of other stones. What about doing a three stone, so it is somewhat simpler? You could do a small round on each side and it would be great. You could then use the rest of the diamonds in a half eternity or something.
WHat a beautiful stone - I think it would look much better in a simple solitaire setting....I LOVE channel settings, but I agree with a previous comment that rounds are annoying and in your case, I really feel that the eye is drawn to the ''gaps'' in the channel setting as the stones are quite large here (is it a 3mm band?) this is definitely taking the glory away from your beautiful stone!
If you don't love it, switch it out while you can. A solitaire would look good, and so would a simple micropave band. The larger diamonds in the band seem to fight your center diamond visually. Smaller diamonds would highlight it more, IMO.
Also, if you reset, you will have more choices of wedding band.
I like it as it is. I''m just not a solitaire fan. But if you are leaning that way you should do. Both are gorgeous, so you can''t go wrong either way.
I love the Tiffany solitaire and think it would allow your diamond to be the star! Plus, the solitaire can be worn with different bands whereas the current one could not.
I think the e-ring right now is quite beautiful and definitely less common than the solitaire. However, if you like the thinner band, then resetting might be a good idea. It will be beautiful either way!
I also have the same question, are you going to reset it somewhere else rather than Tiffany? Or are you going to upgrade/exchange it?
