Should I buy this ring? GIA inside. Quick replies appreciate

Hi all,

I've found a used listing. Guy is asking 10000$ for a ring that includes the diamond below. I am not interested in the ring, but am interested in the diamond. Should I make him an offer? Seems like a good stone. Seems like it might be worth about 7000$, so a 6000$ would not be completely off the mark. What do you guys think it is worth? Is it a good stone? It is the prefect size for what I am looking for, which is great.

He is unlikely to bite since he is trying to sell the ring as a whole, but worth a shot maybe. THOUGHTS!?

if you could get it for 6k? id do it. But if he wants closer to the asking price, which he probably will as settings dont go for much... id rather just have new and get an upgrade policy

He said lowest he would go is 7500$, which seems like a lot. That being said, private sale would save me the 13% tax of importing from US or from buying local.
