Hi Everyone,

I'm considering two different diamonds, and would really appreciate your advice on both of them.

Thanks in advance!

1) This diamond is GIA certified, but does not have a laser inscribed GIA number. Should I be concerned?

2) Cushion Cut

Thank you again!

Do you have links to the stones?? We can't tell you without at least pictures. Numbers for fancy cuts mean nothing in regards to what the cut could look like.

Yes, these are the photos I took from the store.

In the photo of just the stones, #2 is on the left and #1 on the right.

In the other photo, with the setting that I've selected, #1 is on the left, #2 on the right.

Thank you!

#2 looks better to me. What do you think?

I agree from those pics #2 would be the one I'd chose.

the diamonds look dirty and the pictures are blurry. They are not much of a help for decision making.

With no idea of the lighting setup no one on earth can help you from pics like that, not even if they were sharp.
you need ASET, or atleast idealscope - if you can get a 3D scan, .gem, .srn or ,dmc that will help us help you

Have you checked out Brian Gavin Diamonds for his range of Cushion cut diamonds?

You are absolutely right Gary. There isn't enough information. I shouldn't have implied that there was.

Just looking at the pictures I would pick #2 because it has a less crushed ice look.

I like #2 solely based on its shape. I like the softer cushion shape as opposed to #1 which looks to be more rectangular.

I also recommend an aset to check out its light return.
