Your OP is the most beautiful golden color! One of the things I find so interesting about very tinted diamonds is all the different colors they can show. Many moons ago I was considering an OP color and it was a little greenish and maybe some grey. At the time it was a turn off for me — and the cut was not great — but now I’m not sure I’d feel the same way!

Anyway yours is the most beautiful color and the gold works so perfectly with it. I’d love a diamond like that one day.

I was wondering the same thing. Cartier trinity in platinum is pretty hard to find, at least in my experience.

Just picked this up from the jeweler today, this was my moms ring she gave it to me, she had it reset in this setting in 2003, it was way too small, jeweler had to cut the shank off and rebuild it to my size (from 3.5 to 7. 25) I loved the setting so worth every penny. She got it as a tip working in a bar in probably 1960’s or early 1970’s (she has dementia and doesn’t even remember the ring) appraisal states .25ct. H color and VS1, side stones .05 each same stats as the bigger one. I also paired it up with my pink sapphire band. I probably won’t wear it much but still love it!

I am thinking of having my pear re-set from my original engagement ring into a bombe style. Cartier do a stunning version (or did - might be vintage now?) in yellow gold with a pear in the centre & I have always loved it. Is it comfortable?
