OMG - ksmom, I love the Tiffany butterfly pendant!! I have always wanted the bee pendant with the rose cut pear diamond and now I want it even more!! I think I have used up all of my goodwill this year jewellery wise but it's definitely now back on the list!!

MKC I love love love your sapphire ring I have it saved in an inspiration folder, hope that's ok... I remember well waiting for my girls to wake up so we could get out and enjoy the afternoon! How old is your little one?

Of course its fine! I still love it 4 years on and can't stop looking at it. I just wanted something a little bit different to your usual halo. I think it would work well with a round stone as well.

She's not much of a baby anymore... She's 22 months today! A big girl!!

Why can't I ever take GOOD pictures!!!!

I just seriously took at least 50 flower shots and they call came out craptastic! I know they are inside as today is really yucky out but still...here is the best flower shot I could get. I'm so embarrased!

Are you using your phone? Looks like it's focusing behind the ring because you're holding it too close. The focusing distance on phones is pretty pathetic. haha. Try backing it up a little bit and letting it focus again. You don't get as close-up but if its sharp you could even crop it to take up more of the frame. Flower shots are probably hard to get the right angle and lighting with a cell phone or a point-and-shoot camera.

EKKKKKKKK Lil I LOVE YOU!!!!!!! I took a quick one a little further away and it CAME OUT SO MUCH BETTER! Still doesn't show how crisp the facets are in RL but vast improvment!

PJ- I was using the micro or little flower mode, i think I was just too close.

Thank you LLJsmom! I don't have a separate thread on it (haha DS you are right, I've been a bad PSer!) but it is a vintage (circa 1920 per the lovely people at Single Stone) 1.25 ctw French cut band set in platinum.

An attempt at a group shot- threw in my sapphire halo pendant for good measure
