I am going to treat myself to an ACA for my birthday next year and have been looking at settings for a right hand ring that doesn’t look too like an engagement ring.
I like this setting but I prefer 6 prongs, do you think it would look ok with 6 prongs?

Would anyone have an opinion on this setting, with 6 prongs? Thanks

Yeah- I thinks it looks ok with 6 prongs.
I know there some on here who have beliefs on whether 6 or 4 prongs looks ‘right’ with a specific size stone. I don’t know about all that. Also depends on how big/round the actual prongs are finished off to be?

Wow, thank you so much for the images. I prefer the second one.
I am thinking a 1ct to 1.5ct depending on the budget… I am a k1/2 in the UK which I think is a US 5.25.

In terms of sizing if you will be ordering in US sizes, I think a k1/2 would probably be closer to a 5.5. It’s not a massive difference, but better for a ring to be slightly large than too small. You can always use a plastic noodle or have sizing beads added to a ring that’s too big and spins.
