Hello Everyone. In my very first post (titled "Searching For An Oval) I laid out two different diamonds that I was interested in. Someone suggested that I have separate threads for both for efeciency's sake, so here is my round cut thread :)

To sum up what I am looking for in the round diamond:
I want the best cut and carat I can get for my money (well of course lol :)). Size is important to me, I have a size 7 finger so I want decent coverage but most important to me is that it is a great stone. I am looking at only excellent cuts or better, J color or better, SI1 or better. I said in my other post that I wanted something around 1.5 CTS, after doing a bit more research here on the boards I realize that may not be possible on my budget (around 7 k ). So the closest I can get to 1.5 CTS lol!

Here are a couple of diamonds I just found, any input ?

Also, for round cut diamonds is AGS preferred over GIA?

Hi Bellebri,

You can use the HCA tool to eliminate stones that may* not be good performers. Look for stones that score 2 or less. Next request
an idealscope image on stones that you like.

Cheat sheet*
depth 60-62.3
table 54-58
crown 34-35
pavilion 40.6 - 41

I dont like the angles on the first stone so I would pass unless you can get an idealscope or aset image.
The GIA report is coming up really small on the second stone so I cant see the angle values.
The 3rd stone is too deep.

I checked BE but didnt see anything that fit your specs.

Here is what I found at JA. Some are high clarity but that's what I could find with a decent cut.
